I picked one of these up for $2, add a five gallon bucket, an oven bag like you roast a turkey in, and a dark colored pot and a clip of some sort to keep it together (spring clothes pin for me) and yes it does work! Takes a few hours and works best if it is above 60 degrees, but you can cook without fuel!
