By Bev,

What did I do to prepare this week? I am working on a new solar oven. Since I was dumb enough to build one out of plastic last time (But hey, I got it to 225 degrees in a Minnesota snow bank.) I was cleaning out the barn from a winter’s worth of feed bags and ran across a metal cupboard – hmmmmm…

$3.47 later with hi-temp paint from Walmart, I’m thinking this might make a solar oven – experiment begins!

It has been a busy week with working in the flower gardens as the vegetable gardens haven’t unthawed yet. But I did get the debris cleared from the asparagus and strawberries. Hard winter though so we’ll see how many of the perennials survive – especially the strawberries. And yes, I do have a grill under that snow bank!

Hmmm, everyone must be very busy as no one is writing, so I’m not sure what we are going to have this week.

This site is all about YOU! The older prepper. SHARE!

Or email me at my personal box: bcfossillady at gmail dot com, checked a couple times a day usually, when I’m not at my Mother’s. I can’t do it all by myself…

Okay Patriots, how did you prepare this week?

Proverbs 27:12

A prudent person foresees the danger ahead and takes precautions.

The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.”
