 By Bev,

What did I do to prepare this week? I have been very busy working on The Glacier Stops Here event with my Fossil Adventures kids’ activities table, but I did get out and buy some on sale work clothes at Tractor Supply and I found a pair of over the ankle garden clogs with good tread for only $10 – in a leopard print! I’m figuring with the snow pack this winter over 58 inches that it will be muddy for quite a while, when it finally decides to melt.

Joy of joys, we have been in the 20s this week! Predictions for a few days in the 30s and 40s next week – Yeah! And someone got the brilliant idea to create a winter “misery index” to guage just how bad we are feeling. It confirmed that this has been our worst winter in 30 years – and I’m old enough to remember that one and a few more.

Don’t forget that you needed to turn your clocks ahead last night. I usually have quite the list of things that I rotate on the time changes, but I am so strapped for time right now that they will have to be delayed to at least the end of the month.

This week I was inspired by Harriet to do a WATER WEEK! The rule of thumb is that lack of air and you die in 3 minutes, lack of water and you die in three days, lack of food and depending on your fat layer you will last from 3 weeks to 3 months. So, Water IS Important! Maybe you think you have everything covered, but you might just learn a thing or two – I did!

This site is all about YOU! The older prepper. Your knowledge is important – SHARE!

Please email us at: scprepper at outlook dot com, checked a couple times a week by Rourke.

Or email me at my personal box: bcfossillady at gmail dot com, checked a couple times a day usually, when I’m not at my Mother’s.

Okay Patriots, how did you prepare this week?

Now here is a good use of drones! Enjoy!

Proverbs 27:12

A prudent person foresees the danger ahead and takes precautions.

The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.”
