By Bev,

What did I do to prepare this week? Mostly I have been preparing for Christmas – baking, making candies, creating some home love presents.

However, I did find some good deals at the grocery store and stocked up on a few items including meats in the freezer.

And I have been playing around making more can rotation containers. Not pretty, but functional. I haven’t gotten to Wally World yet for spray paint. I did discovered that there is a lip on the back of my shelves that is perfect for elevating the back just enough to roll the cans forward. AND I added 4 YouTube videos on creating can rotation containers and a cabinet to the post that I did on “10 Can Rotation for $0”.

And starting today, Rourke is going to share with us A Survival Story which is written in diary/journal format with daily entries from “Jed”. Jed is a 39 year old man who lives in the small city of Rock Hill, South Carolina. Jed recently started thinking about his life and the mistakes he has made.  He has decided to start keeping a journal to organize his thoughts and try to understand not only where he has been but where his life is going.  Jed begins this journal at a time in his life when he is considering whether he will ever meet “the one” and has just scheduled a trip to attend his 20 year high school reunion.

As disturbing world news begins to be broadcasted across TV’s and radio’s – Jed will soon find much more than expected during his high school reunion. In fact – his life and millions of others will never be the same.

Our hope is that starting today you will read Jed’s journal entries, and find yourself pulled into his situations. You will question his decision making, you will feel his frustrations, his pain, his joys – you will want to know what is happening next. Every day a new entry will guide you further into an adventure that so many of us are preparing for.

We are really looking forward to hearing from readers what they think Jed should do next, and point out mistakes they feel Jed has made. We can all learn from Jed as we envision being in his position. FYI, Rourke wrote the book.

It has come to my attention that several people may have sent in articles and didn’t get a response. Just so you know, I can’t figure out how to get into scprepper email – no doubt computer literacy incompentance on my part. :-D   Rourke checks that one. I do acknowledge every article that I receive. If you don’t get an answer back within 3 days max, I didn’t get it.

This is YOUR blog. What do you want to share? Or what do you want to know about? Have you seen an interesting YouTube video that you would like to share? Know of a great deal or free ebook appropriate for other preppers?

Please email us at: scprepper at outlook dot com, checked a couple times a week by Rourke.

Or email me at my personal box: bcfossillady at gmail dot com, checked a couple times a day, when I’m not at my Mother’s.

And hey, what do you think of the larger type? Helping? Or too big now?

Okay Patriots, how did you prepare this week?

“A prudent person foresees the danger ahead and takes precautions.

The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.”
