My suburban secret garden

little plant

Did not really do this on purpose to be secret but for lack of time to prepare more garden space decided to try some root crops in a flower bed where a pine formerly stood and where the soil was soft. So on the side of my driveway on the right side of the flower bed there are carrots, parsnips, and rutabagas. I am called to stay suburban as far as I sense, but we can camouflage some things pretty well I have discovered. I hope to become active in the group soon as time will allow.

From Rourke: Thanks for sending this in Gramma!!! I did something similar this past summer along the side of my house by planting tomato’s , cucumbers, and squash. From the road it just looked like a bed of flowers and plants.
