Ebola case in New York City

Well folks – here we go again!

A doctor who spent time in West Africa has gotten sick and has been diagnosed with Ebola. He began to experience a fever and gastrointestinal problems. It is being reported that he traveled on the subway and went bowling prior to getting ill.

I just do not understand how we could allow people that have risks for exposure into this country and then NOT quarantine them. This guy did great work in helping people over in another country however he should have been quarantined upon returned – not allowed to walk around the streets of New York City, ride the subway, and mingle with millions of people.

This will not be the last case reported – more to come.
