Seasoned Citizen Relaunch……it begins today
SeasonedCitizenPrepper.com mission statement………
A web-based community focused on a self-reliant, preparedness lifestyle.
Proverbs 27:12
“A prudent person foresees the danger ahead and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.”
A special message from SeasonedCitizenPrepper.com……..
”Ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country.” - John F. Kennedy
Hi, my name is Bev Sandlin, and I will be helping Rourke with the Seasoned Citizen Prepper website. Yes, I am seasoned, feeling older than dirt! I have spent almost 40 years homesteading in the mountains of the Idaho panhandle, northwestern Montana, Kentucky and the southeastern bluff county of Minnesota! I was also a coordinator for the SE MN Sustainable Farming Assn. for about 5 years which allowed me to see operations on many small farms and homesteads. And with age comes experience!
What we hope to develop—with YOUR help–is a web-based community of older, seasoned preppers, focused on a prudent, practical preparedness lifestyle. Self-reliance, frugal living, and faith are the cornerstones of the Seasoned Citizen Prepper. Our goal is to facilitate sharing of practical knowledge among our subscribers.
But this won’t work without YOU. We want to know what YOU want to see, learn, and share. This website is all about YOU! Without your experience, knowledge and sharing we can’t become the uplifting community that SCP can be.
So, my challenge to you is: PLEASE share your experience, knowledge, and what you are doing to prepare for that “rainy day” you see ahead!
Thank you for reading and sharing!
Bev
SeasonedCitizenPrepper.com relaunch starts Monday!!
Hey all -
SeasonedCitizenPrepper.com has been going through a lot of changes lately. The appearance is totally different and hopefully you find it more to your liking. There are several new pages available to view and much more is planned in the future. I have a new partner in helping make things happen around here. Her name is Bev Sandlin and I think you will enjoy her writing as much as I do.
I have heard from many of you, asking questions and making comments. I think the direction this country is going we need to come together for the sake of all. This is not Doom and Gloom! This is taking positive action for ourselves and our families. I welcome all of you to get involved – comment, ask questions, and share your knowledge and experience. If interested – we accept guest posts and articles.
So – bookmark this site and return often as a lot will be going on!
Take care all -
Rourke
A few words from Rourke…..
First, I appreciate everyone that stops by and checks us out here. The site is very new however I can see some traffic coming in once in a while.
Next – my plan all along was to post two or three times per week. I have done a bit more than that but due to time constraints will likely reduce to that.
I plan to post relevant video’s each weekend on both Saturday and Sunday. Hopefully everyone will find some good information from them. I personally love YouTube video’s. There is such a huge variety of topics that are covered.
Lastly and I hate doing this but what the heck. Anything you can do to help spread the word of this site would really be appreciated. Mentioning SeasonedCitizenPrepper.com at different forums you may frequent or on Facebook, Twitter, etc. would be appreciated.
I appreciate all of you and that is the God’s honest truth!!!! Take care.
Rourke

New comment system installed………
Due to frequent SPAM attacks on SeasonedCitizenPrepper I have installed a new comment moderation system.
Not a huge deal – hopefully this will allow only reader comments through and not the frivolous crap that has been being put up.
Please provide some feedback on the new system. There are there options out there so I need to know of any problems.
Thanks – Rourke
