August 1st   A day of piece and quiet.….

I woke up this morning and wasn’t feeling well. I think working in this heat has finally gotten to me.

I did something I probably shouldn’t have – I used up a decent amount of juice from my deep cycle batteries from my solar system. I hooked up my small refrigerator,  made up some Country Time Lemonade, stuck it in the fridge – and after it got cold sat back and enjoyed that cool, refreshing drink. Man….it was great.

M was patrolling our side of the neighborhood with Ryan this afternoon. When they made it to my fence I gave them each a glass. You would have thought it was Christmas. They were so surprised to feel the cold glass when I handed it to them.

Anyways – I sat around and really did little of anything. Pretty much relaxed my aching body and tried to stay cool. Read a few issues of Mother’s Earth & News and SWAT magazine.

I did a lot of thinking about M, Aaron and Caleb. I guess we’ll give it a shot. M has been spending a lot of time over at Bill and Carrie’s. Guess she is trying to get closer to the boys.

I will tell M tomorrow and then we can talk to Aaron and Caleb. Who knows, maybe they won’t want to come and stay with us.
